CV Generator Online

Build an ATS-friendly AU, UK, EU or US CV / resume · 100% client-side, fast & private

Design stays professional and ATS-safe; the global style changes headings, photo / personal-detail rules, referees and page-length guidance in both preview and PDF.

Do — Australia / New Zealand

  • Use a career summary and key skills section near the top
  • Add achievements with numbers — sales, savings, time, team size
  • 2–3 pages is normal for experienced roles
  • End with: Referees available on request

Don't — Australia / New Zealand

  • Do not add a photo
  • Do not add date of birth, marital status or TFN
  • Do not list every duty — focus on achievements
Layout
2. Personal details

Photo, date of birth and nationality are hidden for Australia / New Zealand — employers there normally expect them left off. Switch to Europe (Europass) or Middle East / Gulf if a photo is appropriate.

3. Work experience
4. Education
5. Certifications & projects (optional)

Privacy: nothing is uploaded — editing, preview and PDF creation happen only in this browser. Optional autosave stays in this browser's local storage on this device. PDF embeds CV Sans (an Arial-metric font with correct copy-paste text) and the Word file uses Arial, so the preview, PDF and DOCX match. File names follow Firstname-Lastname-CV.

Processed locally in your browser. Closing this tab clears everything.

Create an ATS-friendly CV or resume for Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe (Europass-style), the United States, Canada or the Gulf — with a live ATS score check, job-advert keyword tailoring, an old-CV modernizer and optional on-device AI rewriting. Download PDF or Word (.docx), made in your browser.

  1. Pick your standard (Australia, UK, Europe, US, Canada or Gulf) and keep the ATS-friendly layout on for online applications
  2. Fill in your details — or upload your old CV under 'Modernize old CV' to prefill the form, then review it
  3. Open 'ATS Check' and fix the red and amber items; paste a job link or description under 'Tailor to a job' to see matched and missing keywords
  4. Download PDF or Word (.docx) — both have real text, standard headings and a Firstname-Lastname-CV file name

  • Quantify achievements wherever you can — numbers, percentages and time saved read far stronger than duties.
  • Only add missing keywords you genuinely have. Prove each key skill in an experience bullet, not just the Skills list.
  • Your CV never leaves your browser (only a job link you paste is fetched by our server, to read the public advert). The ATS score improves your chances; no tool can guarantee any employer's ATS result. Page guidance is general — follow the employer's instructions and local law.

Is the CV ATS-friendly?

Yes. The ATS-friendly layout is a single column with standard headings (Experience, Education, Skills…), contact details in the page body, real selectable text in an embedded font so copy-paste is exact, consistent dates and • bullets. The Word file uses real headings and list bullets with no tables or text boxes. It improves your chances of being parsed correctly — no tool can guarantee a result with every employer's ATS.

How does the free AI CV tailoring work?

Paste a job link or the job description. Keywords are extracted in your browser and compared with your CV: you see what matches, what is missing and where to add it. You can add a missing skill to your Skills list with one click — only if you really have it. Optional AI rewriting runs on your own device (Chrome's built-in AI or a small open model via WebGPU), free and with no sign-up; it is told never to add facts, and rewrites that add numbers or names are discarded.

Can I upload my old CV?

Yes — PDF or DOCX. It is read in your browser, split into sections and prefilled into the form for you to review, with suggestions to modernise weak verbs, passive wording, outdated objectives and inconsistent dates.

What is the difference between the standards?

Australia accepts 2–3 pages with referees available on request; the UK uses a two-page CV with a personal statement; Europe follows a Europass-style structure with CEFR language levels and optional photo/nationality; the US uses a strict one-page resume with no photo, date of birth or references section; Canada uses 1–2 pages with no photo.

Should I add a photo?

Only where the standard allows it (Europe, Gulf) and preferably not for online applications — the ATS-friendly layout leaves photos out because many ATS ignore or mis-read images.

Is my CV uploaded anywhere?

No. Editing, preview, the ATS check, keyword matching, old-CV import, AI rewriting and PDF/Word creation happen in your browser. If you paste a job link, only that link is sent to our server so it can read the public advert.
