PDF to PowerPoint Online

Convert each PDF page into a PowerPoint slide: the page as a full-slide picture, with any extractable text also added as an editable text box on the slide.

How to use PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Add one PDF
  2. Press Convert
  3. Download and open the .pptx
  4. Edit the added text boxes, or replace image slides as needed

Good to know

  • This is best for presenting or reusing PDF pages in a deck, not for rebuilding a fully editable presentation.
  • Short PDFs convert quickly; long documents make larger .pptx files.
  • Slides are picture-based for faithful layout, so text inside the page image is not editable. Extractable text is added in a separate editable box where possible; scanned PDFs will be image-only.

Frequently asked questions

Will the text in my slides be editable?

Only text that could be extracted from the PDF is added as an editable text box. The page itself is placed as a picture so its layout stays faithful, and text inside that picture is not editable.

What about scanned PDFs?

Scanned pages have no text layer, so they become image-only slides. Run OCR in another tool first if you need editable text.

How many pages can I convert?

There is no fixed page cap here, but very long or image-heavy PDFs create large presentations and need more browser memory.

Input: PDF (.pdf)  ·  Output: PowerPoint (.pptx)

Honest limit: each PDF page becomes a faithful full-slide picture, so layout is preserved but text inside the picture is not editable. If you choose the text option, any extractable text is also placed in an editable text box over the lower part of the slide — delete or restyle it in PowerPoint as you like. Scanned PDFs have no text layer, so they will be image-only slides.
