Drag & drop one PDF, or click to browse
Full visual editor — thumbnails, word editing, text, images & signatures. Max 50 pages / 75 MB. Local only, no upload.
Processed locally in your browser. Closing this tab clears everything.
Edit a PDF visually the way it looks on screen: page thumbnails on the side, every page in a scrollable canvas, zoom from 50% to 200%, click existing words to change them, and place new text, images, signatures, highlights and cover boxes exactly where you want them — then download a flattened PDF made locally in your browser.
How to use Visual PDF Editor
- Add one PDF and wait for the page thumbnails and scrollable pages to appear
- Use the toolbar: click a word to edit it, or choose Add Text, Add Image, Add Signature, Highlight or Rectangle and place it on any page
- Drag items to move them, drag the red corner (or use the size controls) to resize, and change zoom freely — positions are stored in PDF points so zoom never changes the result
- Press Download — the edited PDF saves automatically with every item at exactly the place you saw it
Good to know
- Zoom to 150–200% for precise word edits, then zoom out to check the whole page — the export is identical either way.
- Keep word replacements about the same length as the original so neighbouring text is not covered.
- Draw a signature with mouse or finger, or type your name in a script font — both are placed as a transparent signature you can resize.
- Maximum 50 pages / 75 MB. In-place word editing is a visual cover-and-redraw replacement, not a native rewrite of the PDF text stream: the original font is matched with the closest free Google Font, and scanned/image pages have no clickable words (run OCR first). Edits are flattened into the download.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the PDF Editor tool?
This Visual PDF Editor shows all pages in a continuous scrollable canvas with a thumbnail sidebar and zoom, and adds images and signatures on top of word editing, adding text, highlights and cover boxes. The simpler PDF Editor edits one page at a time.
Does changing zoom change my download?
No. Every edit and placed item is stored in PDF points (the page's own coordinate system), not screen pixels. Zoom only changes how big pages look on screen; the downloaded PDF places everything at exactly the point positions you chose.
Can I edit words on a scanned PDF?
Scanned pages are pictures with no text layer, so there are no words to click. Run the page through OCR PDF first, or add new text, images and highlights on top — those work on any page.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Rendering, editing and the final PDF are all created in this browser tab. Your file never leaves your device, and closing the tab clears everything.
