Preview is a close view — the PDF is a flowing A4 portrait report and may run to a second page when you add many findings, actions or photos, with page numbers added.
Privacy: created locally in your browser; text details autosave only in this browser (docsample-site-visit-report). Signatures autosave only in this browser (Clear removes them); photos are not autosaved. Signatures are drawn on screen or uploaded by you — never typed or generated. Write up a general site visit as a tidy A4 report: project and site details, who was present, why you went, numbered observations with a status for each, site photos with captions, issues and risks, actions with owners and due dates, and signature lines for you and the client.
- Add the project, site, client, visit date and who attended
- Write the purpose of the visit and your numbered observations, marking each OK, Needs attention or Critical
- Add site photos with captions, then issues, risks and actions with owners, due dates and priorities
- Sign on the pads (or leave them blank to sign on paper) and download the A4 PDF
- Take photos as you walk the site and caption them the same day — unlabelled photos are hard to match later.
- Give every action an owner and a due date before you leave, while the people responsible are still in the room.
- Photos are resized before being embedded (maximum 6) and are not kept in autosave. The report flows to a second page when it needs one. Signatures drawn here are images on the report — follow your organisation's policy for formal sign-off.
How is this different from the SVR Report Generator?
The SVR report is a one-page landscape service report for an equipment support visit, with machine details, parts and a time log. This Site Visit Report is a general portrait A4 report for site and project visits — attendees, purpose, observations, photos, issues and follow-up actions — and it can flow to a second page.
Are my photos and details uploaded?
No. The form, photos, preview and PDF are created entirely in your browser. Optional autosave keeps only the typed text in this browser's storage; photos and signatures are not autosaved.
Can I sign on paper instead?
Yes. Leave the signature pads blank and the downloaded PDF keeps blank signature lines to sign by hand.
